It’s almost time for Royal Caribbean’s big day, as Anthem of the Seas prepares to sail from Southampton tomorrow, the first of Royal Caribbean’s ships to once again welcome guests in Europe.
“The Anthem of the Seas has always been a firm favourite for UK guests, and we have seen incredible demand for our sailings since announcing our return in March. With a jaw-dropping line-up of onboard activities, restaurants and entertainment, the Anthem presents the perfect getaway this summer. We can’t wait to welcome families back onboard one of the most revolutionary ships in our fleet for a summer of adventure,” Ben Bouldin, vice president, EMEA, Royal Caribbean said.
Anthem of the seas boasts the world’s tallest observation capsule at sea, the North Star – a 360-degree observation pod that extends 91 metres above sea level and offers breath-taking views. Anthem is also home to FlowRider, SeaPlex, RipCord by iFly and a Bionic Bar. She’s a ship for all ages and literally offers something for everyone – you could never find yourself looking for something to do out of boredom.
Those eager cruisers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 will board tomorrow and set off on a wonderful British Isles cruise. There’s a variety of combinations to choose from, with four-night Ocean Getaways offered alongside five-to-eight-night cruises that visit various ports around the UK.
As the Royal Caribbean website says “It’s time to see just how far adventure can take you. Cruise with Royal Caribbean onboard a ship that’s as thrilling as the destinations it will sail to. Anthem of the Seas® is a ground-breaking ship filled with revolutionary feats from bow to stern. Cue the thrills with show-stopping entertainment, activities the whole family can enjoy in any weather, and unparalleled views from every room. Back sailing from Southampton to iconic shores across the British Isles and the Mediterranean, this ship is your ticket to the ultimate getaway”.
