The world’s largest square-rigged sailing vessel has visited the tender Cornish port of Fowey on her inaugural voyage.

Golden Horizon, which sails with 273-guests at full capacity, was welcomed into Fowey on July 9th and is operated by start-up cruise line Tradewind Voyages. She is a remarkable 525ft long and has five masts, being an almost identical replica of the 1913 ship, France II.

The ship is now operating a series of domestic no-fly cruises in the UK, which have been altered due to ongoing covid restrictions, missing Scotland entirely now.

The wonderful photos below were captured by the team at Cornish tour and excursion company, Cornwall Discovered.
