Princess Cruises Summer Seacations Countdown
We’ve just passed the 100-day countdown until UK guests can set sail with Princess Cruises once again.
Over the past several months, restrictions have meant that many of us have missed being able to enjoy our annual holidays abroad and time spent with friends and families. And while international travel still remains uncertain for now, the successful rollout of the vaccine and the falling number of COVID19 cases in the UK means that we can plan domestic holidays for summer 2021.
That’s why Princess Cruises recently announced that we will be offering UK and Irish holidaymakers the opportunity to take a long-awaited break away onboard our beautiful MedallionClass ships this summer.
We’re calling these cruises our ‘Seacations’, as our ships will be sailing scenic cruises around the UK coast and longer voyages with stops in UK ports-of-call: Portland, Liverpool, Belfast and Greenock.
Regal Princess & Sky Princess Domestic Cruises
Starting from July 31, these sailings also mark Princess Cruises’ return to service in the UK, after over a year of paused operations.
These resort-style, all-inclusive Seacations provide guests with the chance to relax and enjoy some well-deserved time away spent with loved ones.
In particular, our scenic sailings provide an ideal opportunity to take a short weekend break, with our three-night cruises departing on Fridays and Saturdays.
While some aspects onboard will differ slightly to what we’re used to – with enhanced health measures in place to protect our guests, crew and communities we visit – you can still expect the same level of extraordinary service, fine dining and fantastic entertainment.
Princess Cruises MedallionClass Touchless Technology
Talking of entertainment – we recently unveiled our celebrity speaker line-up and we’re delighted to be welcoming several household names onboard Regal Princess and Sky Princess this summer, including Eddie the Eagle, Judge Rinder and Tessa Sanderson. (Find out more here).
And with Regal Princess and Sky Princess being MedallionClass ships, guests can look forward seamless, personalised and ‘Truly Touchless’ cruise experiences that are unique to Princess Cruises. We’ve leveraged our OceanMedallion technology to align with enhanced health measures in ways such as streamlining the embarkation process and simplifying safety training, so the traditional muster drills will be a thing of the past. Other features include the ability for guests to order food, drink and retail items to anywhere they are on the ship, and keyless stateroom entry.
After several challenging months, we finally all have a date to look forward to for when we can cruise once again. We’re counting down the days until we can welcome you back onboard our beautiful MedallionClass ships.
